The ring could be described as a low-friction ring, but it consists of two parts connected by the Super Ring and the sailcloth, which centralises the weight on the sail. Therefore, installation is very quick and easy, no webbing is required. Another advantage with this solution is that the boat owner can choose to have the reefing line on the starboard and/or port side of the sail and it is also possible to switch sides. The installed Quick Ring gives the reefing line a larger radius through the reefing point and the unique hard coating and Teflon impregnated anodising gives even better low friction properties.
